Models/ Technology
FLASH
The FLASH carport model was developed for vertical parking in public spaces.
Parking field size: 250cm x 500cm, minimum height 235cm Snow load: max 120kg/m2 (525 m.a.s.l.)
Optional: max 200kg/m2 (700 m.a.s.l.)
Double parking space: 500cm x 500cm, minimum height 235cm
(other parking field sizes are conditionally possible)
Fulfills the impact protection for parking garages for cars smaller than 30kN dead weight, DIN standard DIN 1991-1-7/NA
(impact load of 1000kg frontal or lateral)
Roofing with in-roof or on-roof PV-system possible.
"Supporting structure made of 90% wood the most sustainable building material in the world."

SOLARWING
The SOLARWING model is suitable for both vertical and inclined parking.
Parking space 230cm x 500cm, distance between supports 690cm (up to 525m.a.s.l.)
Parking space 250cm x 500cm, distance between supports 500cm (up to 800m.a.s.l.)

Roofing with in-roof or on-roof PV-system possible.
"Supporting structure made of 80% wood the most sustainable building material in the world".
Unlike the FLASH model, the support of the SOLARWING is vertical and made of an IPE steel profile.
This allows even more freedom of movement when parking, getting in and out and when parking.

Water based varnishes
Water-based coatings have become practically indispensable in the wood industry. The water-thinnable system coatings do not contain any volatile organic compounds (VOC). VOCs are largely responsible for the formation of ground-level ozone (summer smog) and have been taxed with an incentive tax since January 1, 2000.

Opaque shades according to RAL or NCS
In the case of opaque painting of wooden structures (premium thick-layer stain), the color shades can be freely selected according to RAL or NCS color charts. In this color treatment, the wooden structure is provided with intermediate sanding and filling.
Wood varnishes
For color treatment with glaze (base glaze), we offer you a wide selection from our glaze fan. With this color treatment method, the wood structure remains visible.
Greyback varnishes
Water-based, open-pore pre-graying glaze with film preservation. Pre-grayizing glazes are used to make the discoloration of div. softwoods exposed to weathering appear uniform.
Roofing / photovoltaic system
The FLASH carport model can be covered with an in-roof or on-roof photovoltaic system.
In-roof photovoltaic system
In the case of the in-roof PV system, the modules also serve as the roof cladding. The modules are visible from below. Translucent bifacial glass modules are used.
Translucent means that light shimmers through the roof between the individual
photovoltaic light shimmers through the roof.

The incidence of light can be influenced by the number of cells per module.
Bifacial modules not only use the direct solar
solar radiation on the roof, but also the
indirect and diffuse light on the back.
Depending on the incidence of light and the
radiance of the of the floor covering or the parked
cars, bifacial modules provide up to 25% additional power.

Roof edge trims made of galvanized and coated sheet steel, are available in 12 standard colors.
Advantages and disadvantages of the in-roof system compared to the on-roof system
Advantages:
- aesthetically very appealing roof covering
- immediately recognizable as a PV system
- brighter under the roof
- more yield due to additional power
- more subsidies due to in-roof system
- filigree roof edge
- double lifetime of the modules (glass/glass technology)
Disadvantages:
- higher price in the purchase
- grid dimension of the modules must be taken into account
- in winter condensation on bottom glass surface possible
- Depending on the system provider
On-roof PV system
In the case of the on-roof system, the water-bearing roof cladding is a profiled sheet. The modules are screwed onto the profiled sheets with a substructure.

-Slope 2%-Galvanized and coated steel sheet on beam support
-very stable and walkable

Substructure PV modules
When designing the substructure and fastening points, the local
the local conditions regarding wind and snow load are taken into account.
In most cases, the use the mounting system Speedrail from K2.
Modules
For rooftop installation, conventional framed glass/laminate modules from various suppliers can be used.
We prefer Full Black modules which are fixed with black clamps.
Electrics and inverter
All string cables are laid invisibly. In the case of the on-roof system, the cables are located between the profiled sheet and the modules, and in the case of the in-roof system in specially milled cable ducts.
The inverters are matched to the power of the plant and the intended use of the energy generated.
The performance of the plant, use of power optimizer
or battery storage determine which inverter would be choosen.
In order to optimize the performance of a system
power optimizers, so-called MPP trackers, can be used.
MPP Tracker
Inverter
By means of monitoring, the performance of the plant can be monitored at any time.
The performance of each individual module is visible.
Faulty or damaged modules are detected immediately.
Charging stations for e-cars
Charging stations from any manufacturer can be mounted in or on the solar carport.
The energy produced on the roof is fed directly into the car's battery via inverter and charging station.
Most solar carport systems are coupled with the power grid. If the solar roof does not supply enough energy to charge all the cars
electricity is drawn from the grid. If the solar roof produces more power than needed, the surplus is fed into the grid.
Intelligent charging stations can also be programmed so that only electricity from the solar system flows into the cars.
This way you charge your car 100% with solar power.
Various payment and billing systems are
offered.
Charging stations with payment and
payment and billing system can also be
be rented. This means that you do not have
to worry about maintenance and billing.
At the end of the month, the revenue from
the sale of electricity is credited to your account.

Foundations
Carport model FLASH can be installed without concrete foundations by means of screw foundation.
With this foundation technique, the large moment loads from the wide cantilevered roof can be
transferred into the ground without major excavation work.
PLATZHALTER
Advantages of screw foundations over concrete foundation
-cheaper than conventional concrete foundations
-no earth movements
-existing pavements are only partially opened up
-foundation can be loaded immediately
-can be dismantled without problems
-ecological
Assembly / Kit
Assembly in Switzerland
In Switzerland, the solar carports are assembled by an assembly team from swisscarport.
We assemble:
- Screw foundations
- Support structure
- Photovoltaic system/inverter
- Rain gutter drain pipes
On-site services include civil engineering work and the AC section (AC side).
The AC section also includes the charging stations.
The assembly costs vary depending on the location of the construction site.
Travel surcharges and hotel expenses as well as delivery of material will be
separate position in the offer.
The starting point is our production workshop in 4536 Attiswil (CH).
Assembly near abroad
Due to the many inquiries from abroad we have decided
to sell our product also across the border.
However, it is not possible for us to perform assembly work abroad.
What we can offer abroad is:
Sale and delivery of carport kit, with or without PV system.
During the development of the FLASH model, one of the most important
efficient assembly was one of the most important criteria.
A professional installation team can efficiently assemble the supporting structure of the
carport, even without prior knowledge and with the necessary equipment.
Detailed assembly instructions and an assembly video will be
supplied in the kit, if desired.
Assembly process abroad
Foundations: Screw foundations can be screwed in by a partner company of Krinner GmbH.
Swisscarport supplies the corresponding foundation plans.
Support structure: The support structure is delivered to the construction site by Swisscarport ready for assembly.
A local assembly team assembles the supporting structure based on the assembly plans and the
assembly instructions from Swisscarport.
The assembly team needs experience and the necessary equipment. Best suited are
Assemblers from the timber construction industry.
PV system: The PV system is installed by a local solar installer.
The modules, substructure, inverter and electrical material can be obtained as a prefabricated
kit from Swisscarport or offered by the local solar installer.
